James Franco was spotted playfully tussling with his castmate Michael Rispoli while filming the second season of HBO's The Deuce on the Manhattan set Tuesday. The 40-year-old Oscar nominee does double duty playing twin brothers Vincent & Frankie Martino who gets tangled up with the 57-year-old Sopranos alum's Gambino family capo Rudy Pipilo.The disgraced Disaster Artist director sported a shaggy wig and butterfly-collared shirt for his street scene in the seventies-set series, which centers on the rise of the porn industry.
James has also helmed two episodes of The Deuce, which will introduce a new character played by 10-year-old child actor Avey Noble (The Mysteries of Laura, The Affair).
On July 9, Franco's co-star Emily Meade shared a behind-the-scenes snap of her Minnesota character Lori chilling at a bar with castmate Gary Carr as C.C. 'an affable but ruthless pimp.'
