I got to play with some Carine Roitfeld for MAC pieces this week

 I was really happy to get my hands on some of the Carine Roitfeld for MAC pieces recently. I had missed the collection and I was so excited about it and everything!!!!   I managed to track down a lipstick and a nail varnish!

The nail varnish is an unexpected winner! I am really not great with peach or nude shades and I'll be honest - I wasn't expecting to like this one at all. However, its light and  more like a glaze but looks nicer on then I gave it credit for! I'm almost impressed! I do like to switch up my nail varnishes by mixing bright colors then nudes then clear etc. I like that you never know what I might have on.....oh and I am not afraid to clash either!

I am not really a fan of the lipstick which is basically a clear gloss. I wish there was more color in it! I'm not really into nude shades of lipstick but I had high hopes for this one! I will still continue to wear it but I just wish it was stronger as a lipstick!

 - On the other hand - look how much better my lip looks!
