Nigerian famous Rastaman, Majek Fashek, who
has been off the music scene for a long time
now is set to perform live on stage at the
Carniriv in Port Harcourt. Majek will perform
alongside other Nigerian reggae legends
including famous Rumba Style singer Ras
Kimono.
The Carniriv which is set to run from 12 to 20
December, will feature other entertainers such
as Phyno, Terry G, Pato Ranking, Run Town,
Davido, and Timaya, and other notable
Nigerian entertainers.
According to Vanguard News report, Maje
Fashek’s performance was disclosed by Director
General of the Rivers State Tourism
Development Agency (RSTDA) Dr. Sam Dede.
The report further revealed Dede disclosed that
“the fusion of young and fresh faces with iconic
musical role models aptly captures the essence
of Carniriv, a carnival conceptualised to appeal
to different interest groups and demographics
within and outside the African continent.
