Few days ago we were invited for a food tasting for the very famous Ambrosia Bliss. It is a bold, beautiful and larger than life hospitality venture, standing tall in the heart and nerve centre of Delhi; Connaught Place. The place is divided into three areas .i.e., the Ambrosia, Bliss and the Private Room.
AMBROSIA: an opulent and pristine dining area is done perfectly in whites and golden to give a royal feel. To indulge you further they have a brilliant collection of wine and books to choose from. The interiors involve a lot of thought and is perfect for nice lunch or dinner.
BLISS: is a lounge with uber chic bar with a stage that would stand host to beautiful artists from around the globe. The interior is very modern with soft lighting. It is a perfect party place which offers great music, drinks, dj, amazing food and a dance floor for you to take over. Bliss also hosts some amazing nights every wednesdays, fridays and saturdays by inviting performers to play for you.
PRIVATE ROOM: is a silent and state-of-the art conference room for all your important boardroom meetings. The room is also equipped with a plasma, projector and a podium.
FOOD: following are the dishes we tried:
1)Philadelphia Cheese Roll,
2)Veg Caesar Salad,
3)Veg. Platter,
4) Non-Veg. Platter,
6)Tamarind Tofu Cups.
To start with, the only aroma of the food was overwhelming and the presentation was very well done. We sinked in with the flavors the moment we tasted it. Every dish is special in its way. The chefs so adept and seasoned that they literally flirt with food and will take you to an another level.
MUST TRY: Pakhtuni Paneer Tikka, Philadelphia Cheese Roll, Tamarind Tofu Cups.
DRINKS: we were served the following:
1) Twist @ Bliss.
2) Mia Meloni,
3) So Called Apple
MUST TRY: Twist @ Bliss.
The mocktails served were very refreshing. Very well intact with flavors and perfectly garnished.
DESSERT: We had the Blueberry Cheesecake for dessert and hands down it was amongst one of the best ones we have had (we have had quite a few). It is a must try.
MANAGEMENT: the manager is well versed and polite. From showing us around telling us about the details to making sure that the guests are comfortable and are having a good time, every effort was made.
STAFF: the staff is warm and polite. With such a vast menu, they know about every dish and drink and will try their level best to serve you the best.
Marrying global standards to Indian hospitality is the philosophy behind Ambrosia Bliss. Also it is the only restaurant in India to be awarded with three prestigious ISO certifications for Food safety, Environment and Management.
